How did you forge such a successful career in interior design?

Straight out of school, I knew I wanted to make renovating and developing property my full-time job. The interior design side grew organically with each project I did, and about 15 years ago, I made it formal – enrolling in interior design and taking on my first design clients.

Fast-forward to today, interior design is my biggest obsession and I’m constantly trying to push boundaries and create something that’s never been seen before.

What are the most important considerations when choosing products for your projects?

My style is very neutral and timeless, and I select colors and products to achieve design longevity, endeavoring to always design homes that outlive fleeting design trends.

I always look for products with classic lines and style. They also need to tick all four boxes: quality, functionality, practicality and aesthetics. Anything less is a compromise.

What attracted you to the Liano II Pull Out Sink Mixer?

The Liano II Pull Out Sink Mixer was my top kitchen mixer pick, both for the features you can see and those you cannot! Aesthetically, it features a classic gooseneck mixer shape and is beautifully proportioned – making it an easy pick for style and design longevity.

But then there’s the features you cannot see – like the pull-out retractable hand piece that is spring-loaded, instead of weighted, making it a seriously smooth operator!

Is there any project that stands out where your product selections helped you nail the design?
